Top 5 Blogs You Should Be Reading (According to Someone Who Doesn’t Read Blogs)

Well, this is awkward. 😂 Today’s Ultimate Blog Challenge prompt is to share the top five blogs I think everyone needs to be reading. There’s just one tiny problem.

I don’t read blogs.

There. I said it.

I’m an author. A speaker. A coach. A business owner. Someone who spends a significant amount of time creating content and encouraging people to think differently. And apparently, now I’m a blogger. Who doesn’t read blogs. The irony is not lost on me. 😂

Now, before anyone comes for me, it’s not that I don’t enjoy learning from other people. Quite the opposite. I LOVE learning.

I’m constantly consuming information, exploring new ideas, listening to different perspectives, and finding myself down rabbit holes that started with one innocent question. I listen to podcasts. I watch videos. I read books. I have conversations with people whose experiences are completely different from mine. And sometimes I stumble across an article that sends my brain in seventeen different directions.

But do I have five blogs bookmarked that I faithfully read every week? Nope. Not even close.

And I could absolutely Google “Top Five Blogs About Authenticity and Leadership,” put together a beautiful list, and pretend these are my go-to sources. But that would be ridiculous. Especially for someone who calls herself an Authenticity Amplifier®.

So instead of giving you a list that doesn’t actually represent me, I’m going to do something different. I’m asking YOU for your list.

What blogs do you genuinely enjoy reading? Which writers make you think? Who challenges your assumptions? Who makes you laugh? Who introduces you to ideas you wouldn’t have encountered otherwise?

And I’m not limiting this to leadership, business, or personal development. If you read an amazing food blog, I want to know about it.

Travel? YES.

Parenting? Absolutely.

Someone who writes hilarious observations about everyday life? SIGN. ME. UP.

Because here’s the thing. Just because I haven’t developed the habit of reading blogs doesn’t mean there aren’t incredible voices out there worth discovering. Maybe I’ve been missing something. Actually, I’m pretty sure I have.

So I’m officially turning today’s assignment over to you. Help me build a list of five blogs worth reading.

Drop your recommendations in the comments, and tell me what makes them special. Who knows? Maybe by the end of this challenge, I’ll actually become someone who reads blogs. Stranger things have happened. 😂
